Craft-Candy Spring Fling!

Craft Candy are proud to present their 1st annual Spring Fling Craft Fair!

Spring Fling is an exciting new addition to Sheffield's contemporary craft scene, showcasing some of the best art and craft this city has to offer. Spring Fling features craftspeople from Sheffield and beyond including local artists and makers from Bank Street Arts and Persistence Works.

More than your average craft fair, Spring Fling brings together the cream of crafters with a variety of products inspired by quality and originality. From artwork and jewellery to handmade textiles and toys, there is no limit to the creativity on offer.

Spring Fling will be held at the Workstation, next to the Showroom cinema, on 28th March 09 from 10am to 4pm.



To co-incide with the fair, the Craft-Candy team are running a ‘Name the Monkey’ competition for their new mascot (pictured below left). To enter, and to be in with the chance of winning some lovely prizes donated by members of the team, please visit the Craft-Candy Blog. Entries must be in by 28th March - the day of the fair!

Happy Thursday

There's a group over on Flickr called Self Portrait Thursday, where every week you can catch a glimpse into the lives of Etsy artists. Its one of those small things in my life that reminds me how fast time flies. And what days it is. On rare occasions I have been able to plan my photo days ahead but recently I have only been reminded at the last minute, so here's another quick snap. You can see how my fringe is settling in (ha), thanks to the lovely Abi Bansal's virtual hairstyling consultation ;D



Anyway, back to the toyshop tomorrow :)

ARGH

Blogger is doing my head in tonight. I can't upload images, so I have lost the banner on this blog and I have a blog post for siansburys that I can't finish!! Hmm

I've spent all day on the computer trying to get my head round technical gubbins, and my wrists hurt! BUT I now have a mailing list for siansburys - the link is there on the right hand side of the blog and I will hopefully publish the related post tomorrow!

In other news: I have set up ANOTHER blog for the Ringinglow Toy Shop, having spent four days last week reorganising it. I think its looking good :)
And yes I realise my etsy store is looking sad and empty! I will sort that out soon, I promise!

Time for bed now though x
